Where are we all at?

Sandy finally has a bike – whether he has used it yet is anyones guess! Having moved house he is apparently complaining of a sore shoulder……is this the start of the excuses?? Syria has progressed off the grass onto pavements now and has started putting a few miles under her belt! Brian is on antibiotics for a chest infection. Me (Dan!) – I have done a few smaller rides this week in preparation for a biggie next week with Tony, Carl and any other takers! As for the others, work commitments and shifts are keeping us apart!

We are planning a 60 mile training ride next week and are hoping a majority of the group will be able to make it….we wait with baited breath!

The group has been confirmed – all the cyclist know who they are! The support team are now Arthur Leech, Neil Sinclair, Maura Chapman, Simon Virgo and John King.

Our first hotel is booked for the trip. At least we now have a bed and some breakfast after our first days cycling!

Cycle Training:

The situation with Sandy is getting desperate now. He still does not have a bike and the odds of him pulling out are increasing!!!!

Carl is foregoing training this weekend for a jolly to France.

Tony, Brian and Dan managed a brisk 30 miles on Sunday morning just gone. Dan had even managed 80 minutes of football the previous day!

Syria is on holiday! News on Steve, Cliff and Derek is difficult to get hold of due to their elusiveness with the truth!!

Steve and Dan think we should try and get T-Shirts sponsored by Ginsters Pies would be more suitable!
