The Barking Bloodhounds
Who are we and what are we doing?
We are an office of Detectives working on the Murder Investigation Teams in the Metropolitan Police Service. During 2008 we talked of committing ourselves to a dedicated series of Charity events and throughout the year, events in the lives of two of our team clearly identified two particular Charities that we decided to work towards. These being Macmillan Nurses and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Queens Hospital Romford.
2009 will see us undertake a number of events including a Charity Paris to London Cycle Ride and a Charity Ball. In June, 9 of us are set to cycle 300 miles from Paris to London. We are planning a charity golf day, and charity tennis and football tournaments, culminating in a Black Tie Ball in Central London in October.
The Cyclists who will complete the challenge are.
DCI Carl Mehta, DI Brian Mather, DI Cliff Haines, DS Steve Terrington, DC Dan Stanbrook-Evans
DC Antony Dynamou, DC Sandy Whysall, DC Syria Hussain and DC Derek Frost
